Status:
The ceremonial center
pole of the Indian Canyon Village House is the trunk of a
cottonwood tree that fell over in the canyon. It has
been trimmed, smoothed, and treated by the collective
efforts of many visitors to the canyon. It was cast in
concrete in its final place on May 18, 2002 as shown in this
picture shown and used without permission from
